President Li introduced that the Thai Chinese Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1910. The Thai Chinese Chamber of Commerce has formed a friendship association with 72 industry associations and business associations in Thailand. It is the organizer of the World Chinese Business Congress and has long been committed to serving overseas Chinese and businessmen. It has done a lot of beneficial work in building a harmonious Thai Chinese community, prospering the national economy, deepening Thai Chinese friendship, promoting cooperation and two-way investment in various fields, carrying out social charity, and cultivating Chinese talents. It enjoys a high status in Thai Chinese society and has been highly praised by the governments of Thailand and China.

The year 2022 coincides with the 112th anniversary of the establishment of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Thailand. The 28th Board of Directors headed by Chairman Lin Chuqin was established. The new Board of Directors paid more attention to promoting two-way investment and cooperation between Thailand and China, and deepened the in-depth cooperation between the motherland's "the Belt and Road" and Thailand's "Industry 4.0" and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). The new board of directors of the Thai Chinese Chamber of Commerce will continue to uphold the spirit of honest business and diligent entrepreneurship of the older generation, promote the fine traditions of the Chinese nation, unite and assist each other, serve its members seriously and efficiently, comprehensively promote mutual investment between Thai and Chinese enterprises, deepen Thai Chinese friendship, promote cultural exchanges, and double efforts to strengthen the commercial and trade connection and cooperation between Thailand and China, making greater contributions to the prosperity and progress of both countries.

President Li introduced that the 22nd International Chaozhou Association Annual Meeting and the 10th International Chaozhou Business Conference will be held in Shantou. In Li Guixiong's view, Shantou will host "two international events for trendsetters" this year, which is an important development opportunity for Shantou to expand its opening-up at a higher level. As a provincial sub center city, Shantou has greater opportunities to go global. We need to make full use of the 'two international trendsetters' events, leverage the advantages of overseas Chinese, and create a new situation of high-quality development.' Li Guixiong said that there are many overseas Chinese in Thailand, and we will come to Shantou more in the future to promote economic and trade cooperation between Thailand and Shantou. We also hope that Shantou will increase its investment promotion efforts, so that overseas Chinese enterprises can participate in Shantou's new round of construction.

In order to better assist the mutual growth of new overseas Chinese, Li Guixiong co founded the Thai Chinese Youth Chamber of Commerce with several Thai overseas Chinese in 2000. Over the past 20 years, it has attracted more than 2000 members, most of whom come from the Chaoshan region. Li Guixiong said, "It has been 23 years since the establishment of the Thai Chinese Youth Chamber of Commerce. I believe this is a product of the new era. As an important bridge for township enterprises in our Chaoshan region to go global and introduce themselves, we have also done a lot of things in social charity and welfare activities. Especially in the past three years of the epidemic, the Thai Chinese Youth Chamber of Commerce has helped each other and increased their friendship and friendship with their hometown Shantou.
